Parasoft BPEL Maestro Now Supports WS-BPEL 2.0 Standards
Tuesday 13 March 2007Parasoft delivers automation to simplify process orchestration.
Parasoft announced that Parasoft BPEL Maestro supports the recently ratified WS-BPEL 2.0 standards. Parasoft BPEL Maestro is a comprehensive BPEL engine and development toolkit that fully complies with Web Services and BPEL standards – enabling enterprises to develop, manage and orchestrate persistent, long-term Web Services-oriented business processes with greater speed and increased cost-effectiveness.
"“The ratification of WS-BPEL 2.0 standardizes the language of business process execution and Web service orchestration. Organizations leveraging Web services can now orchestrate these services in a standard interoperable way,” said Jim Clune, director of Web service technologies, Parasoft. “We’ve implemented Parasoft BPEL Maestro 2.0 to conform to the WS-BPEL 2.0 standard so customers can orchestrate their applications in a truly interoperable manner, without being tied to proprietary implementations,” explained Clune.
"
Parasoft BPEL Maestro is optimized for the OEM market. The solution is a pure implementation of the BPEL standard with very limited proprietary extensions. Parasoft BPEL Maestro has two components: a runtime engine and a toolkit, both conforming to the new WS-BPEL 2.0 standard. The Parasoft BPEL Maestro runtime engine provides the abstractions and infrastructure required by service-oriented architectures (SOA) including native support for Web service standards, asynchronous messaging, process persistence, and transactional models consistent with long-term processes. The toolkit, implemented as an Eclipse-based plug-in, helps enterprises to develop, review and update quickly BPEL process files and related WSDL and XML Schema documents.
